New Line of Services by Waldorf Astoria

News Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts tries to make its services even more quality and so it has started a new program called True Waldorf Service that is launching this month. The program includes the services of a special concierge, who helps guests before, during and after their stay in one of Waldorf Astoria hotels.

As John Vanderslice, the global head of luxury brands of Hilton Worldwide, mentions, in order to make this service possible they invested as many as 150,000 hours of training for their staff. Hilton also mentions that in order to be eligible for this special service, visitors should not use third parties such as travel agents as in this case bookings are made anonymously.

True Waldorf Service includes three essential parts:

True Waldorf Service Welcome comes to power before the arrival of guests. Customers will receive a personalized email that indicates their concierge and allows pre-arranging services and personal preferences. When the guest arrives, the personal concierge welcomes his/her.

True Waldorf Service Experience includes a series of services. For example, the personal concierge will escort guests directly their rooms, avoiding the typical check-in process. Guests also have a 24h access to concierge or designated representatives.

The last service, True Waldorf Service Invitation to Return, is the first service of such kind in the industry according to Hilton. The personal concierge arranges numerous tasks, such as packing services, delivery of luggage to the guest’s home, boxed lunches, expedited checkout and transportation arrangements. All visitors will also receive a small departure gift that will change depending on the local culture and a thank you note afterwards.
