Accor has very ambitious plans concerning Vietnam – the hotelier wants to have there as many as 16 hotels with over 4000 guestrooms by the end of 2015. This goal was announced together with the news concerning the opening of the first budget hotel in Vietnam by Accor – Ibis Saigon South.
Accor is not new in this country as it has had business there for more than 20 years. The first Ibis hotel in Saigon will have 160 guestrooms. The hotel will provide 24-h services and will be equipped with a bar on the ground floor and the signature OOPEN restaurant.
Other plans of the hotelier include opening three additional hotels in Danang. These will be Pullman Danang Beach Resort with 186 guestrooms; Ba Na Hills – an upscale 90 guestroom resort, which will also be a member of MGallery Collection. The third resort will be in close proximity to the second one. Mercure Danang French Village Ba Na Hills will have 372 guestrooms and will be made in old French style.
