Hudson Brand Comes to London

Morgans Hotel Group has announced the launch of its Hudson brand in London. First London accommodation by Hudson will be a 200-guestroom hotel operated by the hotelier in accordance with a 20-year management agreement.

The hotel in London is to start operating in 2015. Currently no information about the building organization and the location of the hotel is available. It is also not known whether the hotel is newly built or a converted property.

Hudson is a popular brand that offers creative environment and truly unique social experience. The company’s CEO is sure they will be able to bring the atmosphere of the famous New York hotel to London, and will steadily turn it into a famous international brand. This will be the second Hudson property outside the original location in New York City, which is currently on renovation. The 834-guestroom property will be totally restored. All rooms will get new furnishings. Lightning and technology will be also updated. The renovation is performed together with Rottet Studio. The total renovation cost is over US$30 million. It is also reported that the hotel will get a European-style restaurant.
