Meliá Hotels International, a famous Spanish hotelier with over 350 properties worldwide, will open its fifth hotel in Dusseldorf, Germany. The new hotel will start operating already next year.
The hotel in Dusseldorf will be a high quality four-star accommodation that will work under the Innside by Meliá brand. The property features a convenient and beneficial location in Medienhafen district, one of the most popular parts of the city. The hotel will be located in one of the most prominent buildings of this part of the city – a seventeen-story 62 high building notable for its unusual and extraordinary shape. The amazing building at Speditionstrasse is designed by the famous architect William Allen Alsop (UK) and features over 2,000 multi-colored glass panels. The building looks especially stylish at night, when its signal-red technology level located on the top floor is illuminated.
The design of the new hotel reflects the main concept of the building. All 134 guestrooms will have ultra-stylish design, just like other facilities of the hotel. Guests will be welcome to rest in magnificent Innside Skybar & Lounge, which will delight its visitors not only by a huge choice of various delicacies, but also by breathtaking views of the city and its port area. The hotel and all of its facilities will occupy floors from 5 to 14 and the ground floor. Other floors not occupied by the hotel will be used as offices, premises of a media academy, and showrooms of a mobile provider or a fashion label.
Germany is the second largest market for the Mallorca-headquartered hotelier. The company has as many as 22 hotels in this European country. In future the company wants to open 20 more hotels in large cities of Germany, such as Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Cologne, and Dusseldorf.
