The hotel’s meeting facilities have also been remade and enlarged – now their size is more than 15,000 sq. ft. (1,393 sq. m.). Sheraton Edinburgh also comes with a new restaurant and a bar.
However, these are not all adjustments applied as visitors of the hotel are welcome to visit the grand six story spa! One Spa features an extended list of treatments on the space of 35,000 sq. ft. (3,251 sq. m.). The hotel’s dining facilities also work in accordance with a new concept – One Square. One Square consists of a restaurant and a bar headed by the famous chef Malcolm Webster. The restaurant serves modern British cuisine. The majority of dishes are made from finest ingredients produced in different parts of the UK.
The renovation of the hotel in Edinburgh is a part of the global strategy of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. The famous hotelier has commented that the company together with hotel owners plans to invest over US$350 million into renovation of flagship Sheraton properties around the world.
