Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Hanoi Reopens After Renovation

If you plan to spend your vacation in Hanoi, pay attention to the newly opened Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, which has just opened after a full-scale renovation.

All 317 guestrooms of the hotel in Hanoi as well as public areas have been remade. The design of the accommodation was developed by the Singapore-based architect Victor Loh (DP Design). The hotel’s luxury guestrooms, which are located on floors 15-18, have been completely remade. Now they are larger, have transparent bathroom doors and guestroom has a cabinet. The design of guestrooms combines traditional Vietnamese artifacts and modern sleek style.

Dining facilities are represented by a restaurant and a lounge bar. Ming Restaurant features Chinese cuisine and will definitely amaze its guests by silver details and bonsai trees. The restaurant is equipped with two open air kitchens, where guests can see the preparation of fresh noodles and over 100 sorts of dim sum. Guests, who wish to make private dinners, can choose one of several VIP rooms of the restaurant. Lounge zone looks more like a giant penthouse with its wrap-around glass walls and a wooden deck. Here guests will find arched ceilings with amazing illumination, a DJ booth, comfortable sofas, and a large wooden deck. The lounge provides its guests with a menu full of various signature cocktails and Asian delicacies.

Sofitel Plaza Hanoi also has the Plaza Ballroom for special occasions. The ballroom has leather covered walls and heavy sparkling chandeliers.
