If you still don’t know where to spend your summer vacation, you may be interested in visiting picturesque Perugia – one of the popular tourist destinations in Italy. Here has been recently reopened a wonderful resort of Borgo dei Conti. The resort was closed due to renovation, but now it accepts guests again.
Borgo dei Conti is a small hotel that is built on the site of an ancient fortress. A part of the buildings of the resort were constructed yet in the 13th century. At that time the building was used as a fortress. In the 19th century the fortress belonged to Lemmo Rossi Scotti, the Count of Montepetriolo, who was also a painter. He made significant changes in the look of the complex. Nowadays Borgo dei Conti consists of 58 guestrooms and 8 special apartments. Visitors of the magnificent resort will be surrounded by 20 hectares of woods and olive groves.
The designers of the resort did their best to combine the historic heritage of the building and modern comfort and design. Guests of the resort will be amazed by frescoes, painted ceilings, fireplaces, and old window panes. In the territory of the hotel in Perugia you will find a gym, a spa center with a Turkish bath and multi-sensory showers, courts for various games (tennis, volleyball, and basketball), a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool with a bar. Guests are also welcome to use mountain bikes for free. Dining facilities are represented by The Lemon House restaurant, which serves either traditional dishes of Tuscan and Umbrian regions or dishes from the international cuisine.
