The Dubai-based Jumeirah Group will manage a luxurious hotel in Istanbul. The company has just signed an agreement with Demsa Group concerning the management of the property.
The 115-guestroom Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul is a luxury peace of beauty, a hotel-museum. Jumeirah Group will fully manage the property starting from 1 May 2012. The hotel’s name will be changed to Pera Palace Hotel, Jumeirah. In the territory of the property you will find a spa center, a bar, a restaurant, a tea lounge, a saloon, a large terrace and four function rooms. The hotel’s spa is worth a separate mentioning as it is 380 sq. m. large and is equipped with four function rooms for various treatments. Dining facilities are represented by the main restaurant named Agatha. The name came from the internationally famous writer Agatha Christie. In this restaurant you will be able to try best dishes from Italian, Turkish, and French cuisines. Delicious specialties and the choice of the cuisines are targeted at reminding people of the famous Orient Express and its main three stops.
The museum hotel is in great state as it has recently undergone a major renovation. The hotel was closed for some time and then reopened again in September 2010. Demsa Group got the rights for this hotel in the end of 2011.
