The First Hotel in the World with Fully Customized Beds

Scandic, the leading hotel chain in Scandinavia, will add personally customized beds to its hotels, becoming the first hotel chain to offer this.

It’s really hard to overestimate the importance of beds for travellers. Good sleep is what the majority of tired travellers want. Scandic knows this and so soon its hotels will be equipped with special beds that are fully adaptable and can be adjusted to fit the needs of a particular guest. In order to make this possible, the hotelier has developed a unique patented design of beds together with Bliss Nordic, a Swedish bed manufacturer.

Scandic Anglais hotel in Stockholm will be the first property equipped with the new beds. As soon as Scandic and Bliss Nordic get first feedbacks from visitors, these special beds will appear in new hotels by the company. Scandic has already revealed a press release, in which the company says they are pleased to become the first hotelier in the world to offer such beds. They try to provide their guests with innovative services and are always ready to search for the best for guests of Scandic hotels. The company is sure guests will like these beds and so Scandic will be able to offer them to all guests of the hotel chain.

The beds made by Bliss can be adjusted in a number of ways to fit the tastes of guests. Beds can change their weight and length, and can accommodate to sleeping position and body shape. Each bed comes with a remote control that can adjust its spring system, changing it from extra hard to extra soft. These adjustments can be applied not only to the bed, but also to its parts – you can make the bed more comfortable for your hips or shoulders in order to gain maximum comfort. Bed Bliss is a new product by the Swedish manufacturer. The design of the bed is world patented.

With such number of innovations the bed is very likely to become a popular product. Scandic notes that this is not the last innovation as the company already has some ideas targeted at providing better services to its guests.
