China Praises Marriott International

Marriott International was awarded by Chinese CRF Institute as one of the best places to work. Marriott is the only hotel management company awarded with “China’s Top Employer 2012” title.

The famous hotelier is among 32 winners carefully selected from more than 920 organizations. In order to get that title, each organization has passed through a serious process of research and analysis. CRF Institute has selected only those organizations that fit the highest standards of corporate culture, careful attitude to human resources, various employee benefits and career opportunities.

Marriott International, which operates as many as 60 hotels in China, provides work for 15,500 employees. By 2015 the company plans to increase its portfolio in the country by 100 hotels, becoming one of the largest hotels groups in China, so the question of quality human resources is very important to the hotelier. The company tries not only find high quality staff, but also prepare new executives for the growing network of Marriott hotels.

This is not the first award of Marriott as a good employer. Starting from 1998 Fortune Magazine has been issuing an annual ranking of “100 Best Companies to Work For”, and each year Marriott is in the list.
