Best Western International has released its plan concerning the expansion in India. According to it, the company will add as many as 66 hotels in this country within next 5 years.
The famous hotelier wants to run own accommodations in India. For this purpose the company plans to make an investment of $302 million (around 16 billion of rupees). Best Western says that around 90% of the total sum of the investment will be got from individual investors.
As Sudhir Sinha, the chief operating officer of the company’s division in India, says, the hotelier will open from 10 to 15 hotels each year during 6 years. The company has special interest in major Indian cities, cities involved into trading and manufacturing. Best Western will open mostly 4 and 5 star accommodations.
At the moment Best Western International has 26 operating hotels in India and 8 more properties under construction.
