STR Global has published some new figures, this time about hotels in Dublin. According to this information first nine months of this year show the improvement in ADR and RevPAR comparing to 2010.
Occupancy here has increased by as many as 8%, while the increase of daily rates estimates 6%. Of course, this fact has led to the improvement of RevPAR - + almost 15%. Nowadays the occupancy level in hotels in Dublin reaches 73%. This is significantly better than in 2010 with its 67.7%.
The average rate of a guestroom in Dublin hotels estimated €82.41 (approximately US$110) during 9 months of 2011. This figure shows that the rates here keep increasing – at the same period of 2010 the average daily rate estimated €77.51 (around US$103).
RevPAR shares the same trend. 2010 was quite an unsuccessful year for Dublin accommodations as RevPAR level went almost 7% down comparing to 2009. The same period of 2011 showed the growth of 15% and estimated 60 Euros.
As we can see, summer 2011 was much more profitable than summer 2010. This is a true relief for local hoteliers, who hope for steady recovery.
