If you often travel with kids, you know sometimes food turns into a real problem. That will never happen if you dine in restaurants located in Mövenpick hotels as now they feature special menu for little visitors. Zurich-headquartered hotelier has just presented its “Power Bites” menu, which is already available in the company’s hotels in Asia and the Middle East.
Power Bites is aimed not only to entertain kids, but also to provide all necessary vitamins and nutrients to them. Dishes include meat, lots of vegetables, and various fruit. There are no saturated fats, only healthy food. Contains of fat and sodium are also minimized. However, children often don’t like healthy food. They prefer Coke and hamburgers. Mövenpick knows this and so each dish is like a little game. It’s entertaining and fun to eat, so you will be amazed how quickly your kid will eat everything present on the plate. Various fruit mixes are served with scuba toys that, seems, are about to dive into a bowl. Fully eatable millipede made of small sandwiches that stand on cucumber legs has a tomato head. Burgers in this menu come with small toys that do something with them, for example, install tomato in it, and so on.
This menu was developed by the main food department of the head company. As Peter Drescher, Mövenpick Middle East and Asia vice president of food and beverage, comments, modern children have many forms of entertainments like phones, iPads and all sorts of games. The company’s aim was to entertain kids through food.
