Rates in Hotels in India are Just 1% Up

During first six months of the year the rates for rooms in hotels in India have increased just by 1%. This information has been published in the recent survey by Hotels.com. The company has selected all major destinations around the world. Hotels in France, Spain, the USA, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Indonesia, China and other countries have also participated (19 countries in total). According to the survey, the rates for hotel rooms have increased by 3% globally. This makes hotels in India the cheapest ones. Hotels in Switzerland are the most expensive ones. The prices are more than two times costly comparing to India.

India has always been famous for its ancient culture and large selection of attractions. Now cheap hotel rates make this country very popular among international tourists. What destinations have also become more attractive to tourists due to decreased prices? Hotels in Dubai and New York feature major decreases – 11% and 9% respectively. Both top end destinations are widely known as expensive ones, but now tourists can visit these places and pay less.
