Bultins has announced the opening of a hotel in Bognor Regis, a popular resort in the UK. This is not the first opening here for the hotelier as it already has two accommodations operating. The third property is set for opening next year. The cost of the new hotel is £25m. Wave Hotel will consist of 215 guestrooms and 29 apartments . Rooms located on higher floors of the building will feature amazing sea views.
The hotelier has prepared to opening of this property. Butlins has organized surveys among its customers and has made this hotel in accordance with their wishes. The new accommodation will target mostly tourists with children from 8 to 14 years old.
All rooms in this hotel will feature either interconnecting rooms with sleeping areas, or sleeping arrangements in separated rooms. All rooms will be equipped with docking stations for iPods and a library for Amazon Kindle. Guests will also enjoy rest in a café and gaming areas, where they can play 3D games.
According to the hotelier, the decision to open the third hotel in this resort wasn’t a complicated one. This year the sales in two properties have reached 10 million of pounds and bookings for 2012 already exceed £1 million. Usual occupancy level in Shoreline and Ocean reach 90% and that’s a truly great performance.
Butlins is mostly known for its hotels in Minehead, Bognor Regis, and Skegness. Since 2003 the company has invested approximately £150 million into accommodations in these destinations. This year some properties will undergo refurbishments, the total cost of which will reach £12 million.
