Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced it will finally enter the Chinese hotel market. The company will open a hotel in Changsha, Hunan Province. The accommodation will be managed through an agreement with Huayuan Real Estate Beijing – one of the largest and most famous Chinese real estate companies.
Changsha is the capital of the province and the largest city of the region, which is situated on the bank of Xiang River. The hotel, which will have 460 guestrooms, may start operating in 2015.
