Viceroy Hotel Group has just made an announcement concerning entering Turkey hotel market. The famous company will debut here with a hotel in Bodrum. The new property will feature an advantageous location along the Aegean Sea. The hotel is scheduled for opening in 2014 and this will be a newly built complex.
Once finished, the property will feature 84 guestrooms and 166 residential apartments. The hotel will be located on a large plot of land that reaches 32 acres (or 12.9 hectares), which features stunning views of the Koyunbaba Bay. The new hotel will be built by the Safir Group. This is a privately owned company, so not much information about it is available. The total cost of the projects is also not revealed.
The hotelier, which is headquartered in Los Angeles, has commented some plans concerning this resort. It will be mainly targeted on young and trendy people from Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. The choice of Bodrum as the debut location in Turkey is also not random. According to Viceroy, this location is getting more and more popular among tourists. Another reason is in the quality of the resort. The hotelier manages high-end destinations and this project perfectly fits Viceroy’s requirements.
