Sharjah is the third largest emirate of the UAE, but it remains not so internationally popular as Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The emirates government makes attempts to bring more tourists to this region, so the 5-star luxurious hotel in Sharjah is just one of the projects.
The government will sponsor the building through Sharjah Capitalizing. The new property will be located in a picturesque Khor Fakkan region. The actual building will start already in the beginning of 2012.
The developer of the property is Sharjah Investment and Development Authority. The company has already signed a memorandum of understanding with an Asian tour operator that has just entered the UAE market. However, the name of this company, as well as the name of a new hotel is not disclosed until the official announcement in September. The government of Sharjah plans to return investment in 10 years.
It is also known that the new hotel will have 170 suites that will feature stunning views of mountains and the Indian Ocean. The inner decoration will be inspired by the motifs of the traditional Arabian mountain village. As the hotel is located near Khor Fakkan city, people will not be far away from modern life. The completion date is 2015.
