The global portfolio of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. is expected to enumerate 100 hotels worldwide by 2016. This has been announced by Herve Humler, the president and chief operations officer of the company. The company plans to bring its luxurious experiences throughout the world, paying particular attention to such emerging markets as China and the Middle East.
This year the hotelier has opened three properties under its iconic Ritz-Carlton brand. These are the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Hong Kong (current highest hotel in the world), Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dubai and a property in Toronto. Other properties scheduled for opening this year are Ritz-Carlton hotel in Abu Dhabi, Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, and 2 hotels in Singapore and Toronto under the Ritz-Carlton Residences brand.
The openings of 2012 include a hotel in Chengdu (China), a hotel in Herzliya (Israel) and 2 properties in North America.
The hotelier will also open a property under the Bulgari brand. This is going to be Bulgari hotel in London. The luxurious accommodation will join 2 operating Bulgari hotels in Milan and Bali. As Mr. Humler says, Bulgari hotels are opened only in the elite destinations of the world and they are intended for celebrities, political leaders, business figures and travellers who claim the best.
In 2013 Ritz-Carlton hotels will appear in Vietnam, Cairo, Puerto Rico and Aruba. 2014 will be marked by openings in Bangkok, Thailand, Morocco and Bali. Ritz-Carlton will also open its third Japan accommodation. This time this is going to be a hotel in Kyoto. Finally, in 2015 will start operating the second hotel in Cairo and a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
