Accor Will Open a Luxurious Hotel in Qatar

Accor plans to open a hotel in Doha, Qatar, under the company’s luxurious brand Pullman Hotels & resorts. The accommodation is scheduled for opening in 2014.

The new hotel will be located in West Bay district of Doha also known as a business district of Qatar’s capital. Pullman Doha West Bay will have 470 guestrooms, a meeting space of 1,300 sq. m., a ballroom, and 3 restaurants. Accor will manage this hotel, while the owner of the property is Twin Towers Co. The hotel is already at the stage of development.

Pullman is a luxurious brand that is known by its extended business facilities, so the hotels by this company are often chosen to hold various events, meetings and so on. At the moment the total number of properties under this brand reaches 59. The concept of the Pullman brand is to combine comfort, innovation and maintain reputation. Qatar is currently an important destination in the Middle East, and Doha is not only the business center of the region, but also a popular tourist destination.

Currently Accor has 3 hotels in the Middle East under the Pullman brand. These are Pullman Dubai Lake Towers, Pullman Dubai Mall of the Emirates and Pullman Deira City Centre that is yet under construction. In the nearest future the company plans to open hotels in Muscat, Damascus, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Cairo, and other key cities of the region.
