InterContinental Will Manage a Hotel in Koh Samui Resort

Recently it has been revealed that several resorts in Thailand will change their operating companies. One of them is Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa – the oldest upscale resort on Koh Samui. In the nearest future this property will change its operating organization in favor of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. After reflagging the 79-key property will be named InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort. The change of the managing organization will be also conducted together with renovation, which total costs exceed USD 15 million. The refurbished resort is scheduled for opening on December 1.

This hotel in Thailand is owned by Elite Villa Co. Ltd. In the press release the owner tells this is not only the first hotel in Koh Samui in the luxurious segment, but also one of the most popular destinations of the island. InterContinental has rich history of managing upscale properties, so the owner hopes they will provide customers with services and facilities of the highest quality.
