Swire Hotels Presents Its New British Hotels Brand ‘Chapter’

News Swire Hotels, a Honk Kong-based hotelier, has recently revealed to publics its new hotel brand Chapter Hotels. The hotels under this brand will be opened mostly in the UK. By launching this brand the company plans to increase its success caused by the opening of 2 popular accommodations – The Upper House and East hotel in Hong Kong and The Opposite House hotel in Beijing.

Chapter hotels will be urban complexes built in central locations of many cities of the UK. The service is told to be of high quality and very personal, while offering excellent value. All hotels will feature contemporary designs, multiple dining options and intimate bars and lounges. Restaurants will have daily menus and rich choice of alcohol in wine lists. The cuisine will be mainly the traditional British one.

The first hotel by this brand is already operating. The Montpellier Chapter hotel in Cheltenham opened in November 2010. Average rate per night in this hotel is £125. The hotel has 61 guestrooms and one penthouse with its own roof terrace. The hotel features an open kitchen restaurant, a bar and a snack bar, a library, a drawing room, a garden room, a wine cellar, 2 private dining rooms and even a conservatory. A SPA center will open in 2011. The building for this hotel was previously owned by Kandinsky Hotel and was bought by Swire in 2006. The hotel is made in a classic design and features interiors in soft colors. Despite such design the hotel is well-equipped with latest technologies. Guests can enjoy Wi-Fi and LAN Internet connections, paperless check-in, and iPods in rooms. Wine lists in restaurants are shown on iPads.

The second property will become a hotel in Exeter, which is scheduled for opening in 2012.
