Bulgari May Open a Hotel in London

New London hotel, which is currently under construction in Knightsbridge area, may be operated by Marriott International. The hotelier wants to flag the new property, which building costs estimate £350 million, under its ultra-luxury brand Bulgari Hotels.

According to the representatives of Bulgari Hotels, they are currently in the process of negotiations with the building company, Prime Hotels, concerning the possibility of opening new Bulgari hotel in London. However, no details as well as any results are revealed at the moment.

The results of the negotiations and a managing company for the new property may appear somewhat this week. If successful, this will become the first property of Bulgari Hotels in the UK. Currently the company has a hotel in Milan and a hotel in Bali in its portfolio.

This new luxury hotel in London is scheduled for opening in the beginning of 2012, just in time for the 2012 Olympic Games that will take place in London. Until the managing company is unknown, the hotel is named Knightsbridge Palace Hotel. Such name defines its location – the hotel overlooks Knightsbridge Green.
