Rezidor will open Radisson Blu hotel in Stockholm

The Rezidor Hotel Group definitely pays a lot of attention to Sweden. Recently the company has announced the opening of new Radisson Blu hotel in Gothenburg and now it’s going to launch new property under this brand, this time in Stockholm. The 414-key Radisson Blu Waterfront hotel will become the 6th property by this hotelier in Sweden.

The name of this hotel is chosen after the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Center – one the of the largest and most famous business buildings in Scandinavia. Currently Rezidor tries to win the position of the leading hotel group in Nordic countries, so this property is a valuable addition to the company’s portfolio. By the way, Rezidor will operate not only the hotel, but also the luxury business center.

Radisson Blu Waterfront hotel in Stockholm has advantageous location in the center of the city. The property is in walking distance to Arlanda Express rail link, from which people can easily reach the city’s airport. All main sights of Stockholm, the city’s business district, trading centers and boutiques are also located nearby. Radisson Blu Waterfront will feature standard and business class rooms. Guests can also choose to live in one of three luxury suites located on the top floor.

Among facilities provided by this hotel are the 230-seat RGB BAR & Grill restaurant and a lobby bar. The business center is 150,000 sq. ft. large and includes a 3000-seat auditorium, a 2000-guest banquet hall, and multiple meeting rooms with some of them reaching 1000 person capacity. Business center is also equipped with advanced lightning, rich sound and latest telecommunication technologies.
