The famous North Caucasus tourist cluster project has entered an active phase. Construction of a new hotel has started in the Arhyz resort, the Karatchay-Cherkessia Republic of Russia. Arhyz – Synara group - Synara's subsidiary group and the developer – is taking on hotel management obligations.
The all-season hotel in Russia is eponymous to the gorge it is being erected in, on the northern slope of the Main Caucasus Mountain Range in Karachay-Cherkessia. The goal of the project is to build four tourist settlements for 25,000 persons, featuring a full-scale resort infrastructure for family rest and health improvement with mountain ski tracks and a unified network of ropeways to connect recreation zones. Currently, there is just one four-star hotel being erected, featuring 27 guestrooms and a 50-seat restaurant.
A 860-meter chair ropeway, two mountain ski tracks totaling 2,5 km in length and the first 12-object start-up facility are slated to be open in November 2011. Ski infrastructure layout was completed in June.
