In Japan, in the province of Kyoto, there is the curious bamboo meadow Sagano. This is a lot of the long avenues surrounded by the slender high bamboo rows. In total, there are more than a thousand bamboo trees in the grove that grow in rows and look incredibly impressive. The bamboo meadow is located on the territory of the Arashiama Park Zone, with several important religious sites, including the legendary Tenyu-Dzi temple.

In the short period during which the Sagano grove is known to the general public, it is still not as popular as many world-famous sights have become Kiotos. Here one can walk through the slender rows of bamboo trees and enjoy the unique natural phenomenon - the pleasant wind sound, which sounds like a romantic music. Many travelers visiting Sagano Wäldchen claim that there is a very quiet atmosphere.

The area of the picturesque grove, which has a network of specially equipped hiking trails, forms 16 square kilometers. The main plant that guests can see in this unusual natural reserve is the bamboo 'Moso'. This unique bamboo species grows so impetuously that the plant can reach the height of 20 meters in just one month. The average diameter of the bamboo tree is about 20 cm. On the parking lot there are bamboo trees, the height of which is about 40 meters. Some tribes are gradually drying up and falling. From this natural material the beautiful promenades with railings for visitors are made.
