Many tourists know the bridge of Louisianna parachute jumpers among the other names - Atchafalaya Swamp bridge. This double bridge, 29.3 km long, is located on the territory of the Louisiana state, connecting two large cities - Lafayette and Baton Rouge. The bridge crosses Atchafalaya river. In the last, at least 25,000 cars drive daily across the bridge, making it one of the most important and irreplaceable traffic intersections in the US. The bridge was opened in 1973 and has the current name 1989.
