One of the most unusual sights of Atlanta is considered to be the World of Coca Cola museum. As you might guess from the name, it is dedicated to the favourite drink, and you can learn a lot of interesting facts about Coca-Cola during a tour of this museum. The museum exhibition includes more than 1200 exhibits, in one way or another connected with the drink, a mandatory part of the tour is tasting of different kinds of Coca-Cola. Old soda vending machines, cars that brought drinks to the stores, and brought in production machinery from the old plants equipment – those are only small part of the unusual exhibits of the museum.
Those fond of nature will be interested to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden; it is available to visit at any time of the year. The garden is located in the city centre; it occupies an area of over 12 hectares. In this garden there is a huge collection of flowers and exotic plants, and here you can even see one of the world's largest orchid collections. In summer you can stroll through the open area of the garden, and in winter large covered pavilions are available for a visit.
Fans of relaxed walks around historical places should visit Atlanta History Centre museum complex. It is located in an incredibly beautiful park, and includes two incredible historic mansions, and a number of associated structures. Within the walls of historic houses there is an interesting collection of antique furniture, works of art and other exhibits. Also worth noting is that this museum complex is often used for weddings.
