There were found several caves of the Stone Age. All were used for rituals. Artefacts, that were found there, said that more than 9 thousand years ago there were made oblations. Archaeological researchers on the Bla Jungfrun island were realized only in 2014. The archaeologists have found something like the ancient altar and a number of animal carcasses, mostly of sea-calves.
In the two nearby caves the researchers have disclosed a great number of outstanding constructions. There was a place for the fire and a special stone structure that likely was used for grinding. Parts of the quarts tools has become the most precious artefacts from these caves. They were used by primitive people for making various tools. This archaeology discovers have shored the conviction that Bla Jungfrun island was used for conducting cult ceremonies for several thousand years. In 1926 there was opened the National Park that became popular among admirers of picturesque nature and walks in the archaeological areas.
