Definitely take your child to Comino. You can stay here longer, only if your main aim is to snorkel, dive, and swim in the coastal waters. The thing is, though Comino was inhabited before the times of the Roman Empire, it could not boast of big territory or the amount of population. It will be interesting for a child to visit St. Mary’s Tower, which was built in the Medieval times by crusaders and is well-preserved until now. You should also visit Blue Lagoon. During the warm seasons, your child will like swimming there, and during cold weather, it’s nice to just walk there, enjoying the surroundings.
Except for those two objects on the island, a child might be interested only in Battery, constructed in the 17th century, and a walk around it. Nature here is marvelous, but it will only take you half a day to walk around the whole island. However, children of any age will probably remember a trip to Comino as a great adventure. There are places in Gozo, you should definitely visit with children. Small children, as well as teenagers, will like it in the Citadel. The old tower, built in the 16th century, practically rises above Victoria, the capital of the island. The Citadel will not only give you and your children the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the old times but will also impress everyone with the views from the top. Other landmarks of the island, connected to the knights, are Dwejra and Fungus Rock. Earlier, you could only get to the rock through a suspension bridge. Only the knights came there to pick up special mushrooms, which recovered strength.
