There is no public transport on the island. It’s more recommended to hike, so it will be easier to explore important sights. Taxis can be called by phone or taken on special parking next to major attractions and shopping centers. It’s very difficult to stop a car on the street.
Rental cars, bikes and scooters are widespread on the island. In the latter two cases, no special documents are required for rent. To rent a car, you need an international driver's license and a passport; you also have to pay deposit for the car.
It’s more convenient to travel between islands of the archipelago on a ferry; renting a boat would be more expensive. It’s better to plan a trip with a tour group, in this case, you can reckon on attractive discounts.
The best time to relax is the period from December to June. There is moderate warm weather at that time and rainfall is extremely rare. Divers and fans of underwater hunting are advised to visit the island in the period from March to May.
