A significant part of the national holidays has a religious origin; they are celebrated in compliance with amazing rituals and customs. Important historical dates are also honored by locals. Tel Aviv is a large modern city that actively adapts to the world and, in particular, European living standards. More recently, indigenous people had a unique style of clothing, but now it is almost impossible to distinguish modern city dwellers from foreigners.
In the daytime, locals prefer to wear comfortable and modest clothing, and in the evening you can see people in rather extravagant and trendy clothes. As for the nature of local people, it can be described as modest, discreet and quite friendly. It isn’t customary to behave loudly and defiantly in public places, display emotions and talk in a raised voice. Travelers shouldn’t worry about feeling like strangers, because locals are always ready to help with good advice and chat with foreigners who are interested in the local culture.
