The beautiful square Plaza-de-Santa-Ana, next to which Santa Ana Cathedral is situated, is considered the religious center of the city. The spectacular 14th-century building features traditional Gothic style. In the early 19th century, the cathedral was rebuilt, so today it is decorated with a spectacular neo-classical facade. Among other architectural constructions situated close to this area, City Hall and Palacio Episcopal should be mentioned. The latest was built in the early 16th century.
House Museum of Columbus acting as a part of a large-scale exhibition center would be interesting for guests of the island. The great explorer had stayed in that house in 1492. The exposition of the museum tells the story of the development of relations between Canary Islands and America.
