Construction of the cathedral has begun in 1401 and was completed only four centuries later. For years, work under its refined design was being continued; the interior of the temple fabulously beautiful. Within the walls of the cathedral there is the tomb of Christopher Columbus that’s another important object attracting thousands of travelers.
