3. Sharm El Sheikh has well-developed intercity bus service. Tourists with sufficient amount of time can make a trip to Cairo; a journey will take about 7 hours. Hurghada is easily reached by ferry in just 1.5 hours.
4. The most common form of public transport is shuttle bus; buses are cruising streets from early morning until late at night with less than 5 minutes interval. Some of large hotels have their own buses; holidaymakers always can take a taxi too. Regardless of the type of transport, it’s better to specify the fare in advance.
6. Tourists who plan to visit local beaches are sure to buy special beach shoes. Not all local beaches provide an opportunity to swim freely without shoes, as there are corals. Note, that there are no corals at Sharm El Maya Bay.
7. Given that not all beaches are free of corals, it’s not always possible to have a rest with children there. Typically, equipped beaches of upscale hotels are the best for families.
