1. Travelers who are not citizens of the European Union need a visa to enter the country. The visa can be obtained at a Swedish embassy or in a travel agency. 13. Throw garbage only to corresponding trash bins. As a rule, all trash bins have special markings. There are separated trash bins for glass, plastic, and organic waste. Throwing garbage to the lawn or pavement is insulting behavior here.
14. Tap water is suitable for drinking. According to studies, it is absolutely safe. This is true not only about Kalmar but also other cities and towns in Sweden.
15. It is not common to free seats for elderly people or women in local public transport. By doing this, you will offend these people and show that they are weaker than you. Finally, it is better to forget about all rude and intolerant words while you are in the country because in Sweden everyone is equal.
