JA Resorts Offers Comfortable COVID-19 Testing at its Dubai Hotels

JA Resorts & Hotels, a hospitality company based in the UAE, decided to make the mandatory COVID-19 testing after arrival more comfortable for its guests. It offers onsite tests available at the company’s hotels in Dubai. Both local and international guests are eligible.

At the moment, only a limited number of hotels in Dubai participate in the new onsite testing program. These are the JA The Resort (JA Palm Tree Court and JA Beach Hotel), JA Ocean View Hotel on The Walk, The Manor by JA, Jebel Ali Beach Dubai, and Jumeirah Beach Residence. To make the in-hotel testing possible, JA partnered with GMC Clinics. The price of taking the test at Dubai hotels will be no more than 250AED, but the hotelier promises that the price will go down. Guests do not need to go anywhere to take the test. They simply book an appointment, and a healthcare specialist will visit their hotel room to take the nasal swab test. Guests need to make the booking 4 days before the departure. The results are sent to email within 24 hours.

The hotelier explains this new initiative as a desire to help guests to enjoy a comfortable holiday in Dubai. Tourists do not need to worry about all preparations before their flight. They can enjoy their stay in Dubai and then just take the test done right in time. To ensure a safe experience for hotel guests, JA received the Dubai Assured Stamp meaning the hotels successfully passed safety verification by the emirate’s authorities. The coming months are great for tourism in Dubai as the weather will be perfect and there will be no usual crowds of tourists everywhere.

To book the in-hotel COVID-19 tests, guests need to do the following: inform the hotel about the testing, provide the necessary information (a copy of passport, address, phone number, email, occupation), and pay the test cost (AED250, the money goes to GMC Clinic). It is important to book the test 4 days before the departure and choose the preferred time (from 9 am to 9 pm). The results are usually sent the following day before 3 pm (or 6 pm if the sample was collected late).
