Nobu Opens a Hotel in Warsaw, Poland

News Nobu Hospitality has just opened its first hotel in Poland, Nobu Warsaw. Even the pandemic is not an obstacle for the growing luxury lifestyle hotel brand. The Warsaw hotel is the 12th Nobu hotel worldwide. Naturally, the property has a Nobu restaurant on spot, which is the 43rd restaurant in the world by this legendary brand.

Founded by star chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Hollywood actor Rober De Niro, and Meir Teper, the hotel brand tries to bring modern luxury and exceptional comfort to the most sought after destinations. The hotel in Warsaw will have 117 guestrooms, event space for business guests, an up-to-date fitness center, and opulent dining options.

The design of the Nobu Hotel Warsaw is an interesting combination of new and old. The hotel is open in an old building with a rich history. Built in the 1920s, the eye-catching Art Deco building provided space for Hotel Rialto. It is still easy to notice classic details that return us to that period. Opposite to the building, Nobu Warsaw features modern design that is the result of the cross-continental work of two companies – Medusa Group from Poland and Studio PCH from California (the U.S.). The companies tried to develop the individual look of the hotel that would reflect the modern and diverse capital of Poland. Of course, the design has a touch of Japanese elegance and calmness that is the signature trait of Nobu hotels.

Just like all over Nobu hotels in the world, Nobu hotel in Warsaw will have an iconic Nobu Restaurant & Café. The restaurant opened on July 17, 2020, and is ready to pamper its guests with exclusive, non-traditional cuisine developed by Chef Nobu. The restaurant’s chef identity has been revealed – this is Executive Chef Yannick Lohou who was working in the Nobu hotel in Barcelona.

The restaurant features classic Japanese dishes mixed with South American ingredients to add a peculiar taste. Of course, such signature dishes of Nobu restaurants as Beef Yoban Yaki and Toro Tartare with Caviar are present on the menu. The restaurant’s chef promises that the restaurant will have Polish-inspired dishes soon. The hotel opens in a hard period, so it had to think of extra measures to make sure that guests stay safe and healthy. The hotel’s management also tried to minimize interactions between guests and hotel staff and stop the spread of the disease. All hotel staff wears masks and gloves, and guests can receive them anytime upon request.
