Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will soon mark its presence in Ireland. The hotel company is rebranding the Marker Hotel in Dublin that is open in one of the most luxurious and eye-catching buildings in the capital of Ireland. This is an important step forward for the luxury hotel brand. The Dublin hotel will become the first urban hotel by Anantara in Europe and also mark the company’s presence in northwest Europe.
The rebranded hotel enjoys a fantastic location in the Docklands, one of the most vibrant and attractive neighborhoods of Ireland’s capital. The new Anantara hotel in Dublin will open its doors in the center of the so-called Silicon Docks. This name is not random - the area is named after Silicon Valley because this part of Dublin is home to offices of many high-tech companies. The hotel is situated close to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), so it is suitable for both business and cultural travelers. As the Maker is the only five-star hotel in the area, it is destined to become the epicenter of social life in the area.
The Maker Hotel has six floors and 187 rooms with futuristic design (166 deluxe rooms and the remaining 18 rooms are executive ones and suites). It is also important to mention eight modern meeting rooms and event spaces. Deka Immobilien, one of the most famous real estate investment managers, is the owner of this hotel. The Maker is also a member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
Guestrooms and location are not the only advantages of this hotel. Irish Tatler Dublin named the spa center open at this hotel the Spa of the Year several times. It is also important to mention the La Brasserie restaurant that owns an honorable title of the Best Hotel Restaurant in Dublin awarded by the Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI). Finally, there is a fabulous rooftop terrace with striking panoramic 360º views.
Anantara’s officials already expressed their delight with the deal and the opportunity to rebrand one of the most respectable and famous hotels in the city. They hope to bring their signature luxury traces to the Irish capital to ensure guest satisfaction and best experience. The Docklands is an old neighborhood that emerged in the eighteenth century. This is a fabulous destination for foodie travelers as the area is famous for its fine cuisine restaurants and extravagant cafes. The Anantara hotel in Dublin will be the third hotel by this company in Europe with the other two being Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort in Portugal and the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace in Marbella (Spain).
