Hyatt Has Grandiose Plans of Its Expansion in the Asia Pacific

News Hyatt Hotels Corporation has really impressive plans regarding its expansion in the Asia Pacific. By the end of next year, the internationally famous hotelier plans to open as many as 21 new luxury hotels and resorts in the region.

These new properties will operate under different brands. Such popular brands as the Andaz and the Grant Hyatt will get six new properties each. There will be also two new Alila resorts. The new hotels will increase Hyatt’s portfolio in the region by more than 25%. The new hotels will represent different categories, including wellbeing hotels, lifestyle hotels, and resorts. According to Hyatt, this division is essential as modern travelers, both leisure and business ones, crave for more personalization.

One of the main brands of the hotelier, Park Hyatt, will also get a major boost. As many as seven new Park Hyatt hotels will open in less than two years. This is incredibly fast given that Hyatt usually opens one Park Hyatt property a year. The Andaz hotel brand, which is famous for its dedication to culture and authentic experiences, will double its presence in the Asia Pacific. Hotels in Seoul, Dubai, and Shenzhen hotel – Andaz comes to all most important gateway cities of the region. Resort destinations are not forgotten as well – there will be Andaz hotels in Xiamen and Sanya (both China), as well as a Bali resort.

The Alila brand, which is a new brand that is not fully integrated into the Hyatt portfolio yet, is set to get hotels in Oman and Malaysia. These two hotels will appeal to travelers seeking authentic experiences and careful maintaining of century-old traditions. The Grand Hyatt brand will mark its presence in developing cities of such countries as South Korea, China, Kuwait, India, and Saudi Arabia.

Here is the complete list of hotels that Hyatt plans to open. In 2019, the company opens Andaz Gangnam hotel in Seoul (South Korea), Grand Hyatt Al Khobar (Saudi Arabia), Park Hyatt hotel in Kyoto (Japan), Grand Hyatt Hefei (China), Park Hyatt hotel in Shenzhen (China), Park Hyatt hotel in Doha (Qatar), Park Hyatt Auckland (New Zealand), Grand Hyatt Gurgaon (India), Andaz Dubai The Palm (the UAE), and Park Hyatt hotel in Jakarta (Indonesia). Hyatt plans to open the following hotels in 2020: Andaz Bali (Indonesia), Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula (China), Andaz hotel in Xiamen (China), Andaz hotel in Shenzhen (China), Alila Hinu Bay (Oman), Park Hyatt Niseko (Japan), Alila Dalit Bay (Malaysia), Park Hyatt Suzhou (China), Andaz Sanya Sunny Bay (China), Grand Hyatt Kuwait (Kuwait), and Grand Hyatt hotel in Jeju (South Korea).
