A popular hotel in the capital of the Netherlands, Sir Adam, decided to take security of its guests on the new level and installed new Saflok Quantum RFID, an electronic door lock system. The locks are produced by dormakaba, one of the global leaders in the area of electronic access means.
Sir Adam occupies first 8 floors of A’DAM Toren tower, a popular landmark in the heart of Amsterdam. This urban boutique hotel is famous for its great location and panoramic views of the IJ River. The hotel got positive reviews from many respected sources, including New York Times that called the tower “red-hot art neighborhood and new creative city center”. Sir Adam is designed in “euro-chic” style, and launch of the newest Quantum system was a worthy addition to the edgy style of the hotel. Quantum RFID electronic locks are mobile-ready and feature a new key style with powder coated Gala levers. Doors of the hotel were upgraded as well. They were coated with a special anti-fingerprint layer, so that the upgraded look even better fits the state-of-art design of the hotel. Both the lock and the cover were provided by dormakaba. The electronic key gives secure access to guestrooms, public spaces and even lifts of the tower. Moreover, it is compatible with IOS, Android and BLE, so guests of the hotel can unlock their rooms with a smartphone and other devices like Apple Watch.
Located in A’DAM Toren tower, the 108 guestroom Sir Adam offers prime location close to the historic centre of Amsterdam. The boutique hotel comes with various food and beverage outlets and provides meeting and event space for various purposes. The bold design of the hotel was developed by award-winning ICRAVE design agency that is headquartered in New York.
