The hotel will have a prime location on Andrassy Street near the State Opera House. This street, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also known as the most luxurious shopping street in the city.

Budapest has become a popular destination for travel for both Europeans and international visitors, so there’s no wonder why many hotel chains are interested in debuting or increasing their presence on hotel market of the city. The palace will undergo a full renovation in order to be turned into a modern hotel with 162 designer guestrooms and one Presidential Suite (called Extreme WOW at W Hotels). The hotel will get a restaurant and a destination bar, Away Spa, WET swimming pool and FIT fitness centre. Event and meeting facilities will be represented by three meeting rooms and one large room for events and celebrations. W Budapest will feature W Living Room, the signature lobby zone, and Whatever\Whenever service that promises hotel guests get what they want whenever they want it.

Currently there are 50 W hotels operating around the world, and the company plans to increase its portfolio to 75 hotels by 2020. W Hotels successfully manage hotels in Barcelona, Istanbul, Paris, St. Petersburg, London, Verbier and Amsterdam – the last opened W hotel in Europe, which greeted its first guests in 2015.
