Guests of the Langham hotel in Hong Kong are welcome to try absolutely new and unique cocktails that were made in collaboration with the Shanghai company Tang Silk Road. The exclusive cocktail and mocktail are inspired by the popular fragrances of Tang Silk Road and are available for order at the hotel’s bar, The Artesian.
The new custom drinks were developed by the head mixologist of the Langham hotel in Hong Kong Rajendra Limbum. The idea of the drinks came from the two fragrances by Shanghai Tang, namely Rose Silk and Spring Jasmine. The Rose Silk cocktail is a mix of elderflower liqueur, rose champagne and rose jam. The cocktail is garnished by candies silver pearls, rose petals and slightly sprinkled by rose water. The other cocktail, the Spring Jasmine mocktail consists of jasmine tea, mint, lemon juice, lemongrass and dry lemon. Guests, who order these cocktails, can receive a complimentary present from Shanghai Tang a mini version of the Silk Road perfume.
