Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts will soon add one more property to its portfolio. This will be a hotel in Riyadh, in the famous King Adbullah FinancialDistrict (KAFD). The hotel will have 353 guestrooms and is set to open in 2017.
King Abdullah Financial District is a rapidly developing business hub in Riyadh, so the hotel may become very popular with business travelers, especially if take into consideration the fact that the property will offer both short-term guestrooms and executives for long-stay. Mövenpick hotel in Riyadh will have 264 guestrooms, 85 serviced apartments and four bungalows. The complex will also include numerous meeting rooms, a banquet hall, two restaurants, health club and gym.
The hotel in KAFD will join the KSA portfolio of the famous hotelier, which currently includes 13 hotels with the total of 4,826 guestrooms if counted together with hotels in the pipeline. Mövenpick operates 9 hotels with 3,456 guestrooms in total across Saudi Arabia. Four more hotels with extra 1,370 guestrooms are set to open in coming years. Mövenpick will open two hotels in Riyadh, a hotel in Jeddah that will start operating already this year, and one more hotel in Al Khobar in 2016.
