New Meet with Purpose Concept by Hilton
Hilton Worldwide announced the launch of its new program named Meet with Purpose. The concept was specially designed for meetings and events, and is aimed to reduce waste production and promote wellness and health. It will also help meeting planners reach their goals faster and more convenient.
The program was developed in tight collaboration with meeting professionals. Based on their feedback, it was decided to divide Meet with Purpose into two main areas. The first one is called “mindful eating” and the other one is “mindful meeting”. With mindful eating meeting professionals will be able to choose dining options with reduced food waste. The food offered will be healthier, with wise portion sizes, and made of locally sourced seasonal ingredients. The food will be provided in reusable containers and water is offered in central water stations. Mindful meeting includes paperless registration, smart use of climate control, which won’t be turned on when the room is not used, and notepads placed in a central location.
The new concept will help meeting planners and attendees work even more efficient, enjoying sustainable and environment friendly service.
