Accor marked its return to Myanmar by opening the 165 guestroom Lake Garden hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. According to the hotelier, currently the capital of Myanmar experiences growth of the number of visitors, with particular need for upscale rooms with standard facilities for international hotels, so they felt it was right time to open it.
The design of the property was chosen modern and sleek, but with references to traditional art and heritage, so it turned out to be an interesting combination of history and modern urban style. Guests will certainly pay attention to the three bells near the entrance. These bells draw on the look of the bell of Mingun that is known as the second largest bell in the world. It is also impossible to fail to notice a giant bowl styled alms that decorates the hotel’s lobby.
Accor hotel in Nay Pyi Taw features a spa center, a fitness center and three restaurants. The hotelier promises that its new hotel will offer guests an excellent opportunity to enjoy modern Myanmar and get acquainted with its rich heritage.
