The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company has unveiled its plans regarding the building of the company’s first golf resort in China. The resort will be located on the beautiful tropical island of Hainan, and it will start operating closer to the end of 2015.
The Ritz Carlton Mission Hills will be built in Haikou that is also known as the capital of Hainan Province. Targeted at luxury travellers, the resort will offer not only superb service and accommodation, but also world-class golf facilities for all enthusiasts of this wonderful game. The 201 guestroom resort is developed by the Mission Hills Golf Club and will be managed by The Ritz-Carlton. The Ritz Carlton Mission Hills will also include 21 private villas and a standalone club house. The territory of the resort will include 10 golf courses of international level. When open, it will become the largest public golf complex in the world.
The new resort will be open close to the city of Haikou that is also known as the Coconut City. This is an emerging business and tourism center of the region. Haikou will certainly attract visitors by its wonderful beaches with pristine white sand. The city has been chosen the base of China’s national sailing and windsurfing teams. The most notable sites of the region include The Temple of Five Lords, the Xiuying Emplacement, and the Tomb of Hai Rui. It has been revealed that the new golf resort will have all signature services of The Ritz-Carlton brand, such as Ritz-Carlton Spa, convention and meeting spaces, two swimming pools, and even several tennis courts.
