These days it’s hard to overestimate the importance of social networks, and big hotels companies are very well aware of that fact, so they try different means of attracting and entertaining users of social networks. This time, the contests are organized by two large companies Radisson Blu by Carlson and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
The new campaign by Hilton is called “Our Stage. Your Story”. The prize is really worth trying participants can win a two night stay at any Hilton hotel around the world. Starting from this month and up to October 26, one two-night stay will be awarded to a lucky winner who publishes an image of his/her own stay in one of the company’s properties. The image must be posted with #HiltonStory hashtag. The contest will be held every week. In order to encourage everyone to participate in the contest, Hilton made a special YouTube video with creative compilation of travel photos from different consumers. There is even more Hilton started partnership with Casetify design company that was previously known as Casetagram. Together, the companies developed special phone cases that will be also awarded to random participants every week.
The contest by Radisson Blu encourages travellers to share tips and their experience about different destinations and, particularly, about area around Radisson Blu hotels. The contest called Social Eyes, and participants should post tips about destinations and areas near any Radisson Blu hotel. These tips are posted, and every week the author of the best tip will win a free night at any Radisson Blu hotel worldwide. The tips should be added to the official blog of the brand.
