Golden Tulip Hotels, Suites & Resorts has announced its major expansion in MENA region. The company will open six new hotels in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Tunisia.
There is already some information about the hotels. It is known that the new hotels will be located in Jeddah, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Tunis, and Makkah. In less than a month, on March 1, Golden Tulip Khalidiya will open its doors. The hotel will have 284 guestrooms and will mark the return of Golden Tulip to the capital of the UAE. In addition to standard services, Golden Tulip Khalidiya will offer various food and beverage facilities. Actually, the hotelier manages two properties nearby Tulip Inn Al Rahba and Golden Tulip Jazeera Ghantoot Resort, but they are located in the city’s suburbs, while the new hotel is located in the central part. Within next several months the hotelier will also open Tulip Inn Suites in Ras Al Khaimah.
In Saudi Arabia the hotelier will open two properties. These are going to be yet an unnamed hotel and a serviced apartments complex with 355 guestrooms. The second property will work under the Royal Tulip brand and will be opened in Jeddah, while the unnamed hotel will have 260 guestrooms. These properties are set to open within two years. The third hotel is Saudi Arabia will be opened in Makkah. This is going to be a 350-guestroom Golden Tulip Makkah.
Finally, one hotel is to be opened in Tunisia. Golden Tulip Utique Aryana will be the fifth hotel of the company in the country. Located in the capital of the country, the hotel will be a part of a mall development. Golden Tulip also has expansion plans in Algeria and Lebanon.
