Hong Kong-based hotelier Mandarin Oriental has announced the opening of a luxury resort on the Indonesian island of Bali.
The hideaway resort is set to open in 2016. Located on the southern peninsula of Bukit, the hotel is to become a part of the large luxurious Bukit Pandawa development. The resort has a truly unique location on a plateau near cliff. Visitors of the resort will certainly enjoy stunning 180 degree views and secluded private beach with white sand.
The mandarin oriental hotel in Bali will have 121 keys and will consist of 97 large villas and 24 spacious guestrooms. Each villa comes with a private swimming pool ranging from 10 to 15 meters. The resort was designed by internationally famous designer Jean Michel Gathy, who chose contemporary style with elements of local culture and oriental heritage of Mandarin Oriental Group. Both villas and guestrooms will be very comfortable and will be equipped with all signature elements of the hotel group as well as with modern entertainment systems.
Dining facilities in the resort will fit highest standards of quality. Mandarin Oriental Bali will have three restaurants and bars. Among them there will be a signature restaurant on the top of the cliff, a beach grill and bar, and a three-meal restaurant. The resort will have event and function space for business and leisure visitors. Moreover, there will be a stunning cliff-top ceremony platform with ocean views an ideal place to host weddings and other ceremonies.
The resort’s Mandarin Oriental Spa will offer a complete set of wellness and beauty procedures. The spacious 1,725 sq. m. spa will have eight treatment rooms and will offer water and heat treatments, and a large 100m long outdoor swimming pool. Other facilities available include a fitness centre, a beach club, a kids club, retail space, a library, and even an 18-hole golf course.
